PROFESSIONAL PARTNER NEEDED full-time at Region 1 Behavioral Health Authority. This position works with children who have a diagnosable mental illness, and their families, serving 11 counties of the Panhandle. Professional Partners provide wraparound services for families including development of formal/informal support teams and documentation of progress. If you are creative, organized, positive and enjoy helping others, this is the perfect job for you! Duties include intake processing, advocating for children and their families, linking families to services, assisting families in forming support systems, monitoring progress toward goals and marketing the program. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population and have the flexibility to work in a variety of situations/settings. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of mental health diagnoses, issues and family dynamics. Daytime travel throughout western Nebraska will be required. Bachelor's degree in a human services field preferred but not required, or experience working with children and families. This is a 40 hour per week position with full benefits and a flexible schedule.
